Epigram

  A very short, ironic and witty poem usually written as a brief couplet or quatrain. The term is derived from a greek epigramma meaning inscription.



                       To see a world in grain of sand, 

                       And a heaven in a wild flower,
 
                   Hold infinity in the palm of your hand, 

                          And eternity in an hour.
